Very disappointed. My boys love Minecraft and own a couple of other Minecraft books. I thought this would be nice to add to their collection, but when it arrived, I was underwhelmed. It was to be a Christmas gift for one of my boys, but after flipping through it, I decided to just add it to the bookshelf and order a better book. We have the one with the Golden Pear on the front, the red stone book, and the one with the Sword (a hardcover book). All have nice, colorful pages and show a lot of neat Minecraft stuff. This is plain white paper with text. That's it. Very boring and unappealing. Not really worth my time to return...save yourself the hassle and get the ones with the colorful pages.
Not only is this book NOT the ultimate survival guide, but this is literally for your FIRST DAY playing Minecraft. I bought this for my boyfriend (who is 26) and honestly I'm embarrassed. I'm still going to give it to him, but this book is a joke. It's entirely black and white and each page has a maximum of about 50 words on it. I would be shocked if there's any valuable information for someone who has played the game for years. Huge waste of money.
Who on earth are the people gave 5 starts to this? My boy wanted this book just after search the word minecraft. He finished this book in five minutes and I was very disappointed when looked at it. I wouldn't pay a dollar.
Minecraft: The Ultimate Survival Handbook is very comprehensive and detailed. Wow, it has all the things one needs to know in order to play with and enjoy Minecraft like a pro! The tips given are so powerful and so well explained that one will be able to comprehend right away. At first I didn't know how Minecraft is done, with after reading this book, now I can say that I truly understand it. My son, who loves Minecraft so much, appreciates this book too. Now that he knows a lot, he will be able to play with it better.
