As a former school librarian one of the worst excuses for a child's book I have seen. Stories are rip offs of fairy tales. Illustrations extremely poor black and white blurry digital prints of minecraft projects. layout poor, so that text is in the binding due to inadequate margins. No joy in this book
Laughably bad. The graphics are black and white with very poor resolution. Yeah, I know, it's Minecraft. It's supposed to be low res blocky. But these graphics are fuzzy. On at least one page the text runs into the picture. I bought this for my 1st grader thinking the graphics would hook him and he would want to read the text to learn more. Nope. He was immediately turned off by the pictures. It may be a 1-star product but so far it has not actively harmed my son so only worthy of a 2-star review.
This books quality was lacking. The font sizes are different from page to page and on most of the pages the words are so close to the binding of the book you can't even read the first word of the line. I bought this a Christmas gift and was embarrassed when the child opened the book. I guess I should have looked at it closer before I wrapped it. Disappointed.
I bought this for my 9yr old son because I want him to get into reading books and since he loves minecraft I said hey let's give it a try. Well, he loves it!!! I was searching for a book that would keep him entertained and this book delivers that. I caught my son laughing at times and he also came to me a couple of times to tell me about what was happening in the story. I asked him if he liked it and he said yes (he also noticed that there are more of its kind, in other words, mommy get more!) The book is no that big and I think it's worth it.
The famous game minecraft is now available at its children edition and this book is all you need to introduce your kid at the inner meaning of this game and give him to understand the rules and crafting technology that he needs to know in order to play the game properly and be entertained with his friends as well. The rules of the game are explained in a clear and easy way in a language that the kid can understand and never finds it boring.
We bought this book for our 6-year-old to practice his reading, but it is very poorly written. There are spelling and grammar mistakes, which has been very confusing for him. I would not recommend this book for kids.
I should say it's a great book.. My son told me about this book and I bought it for him.. It's a very good book I must say. It carries short stories and my son is just loved it to read.I am happy atleast he got interest in something.Thanks and seller for providing me this book.
This is one of my kids favorite books! Very easy to read and understand as I am very impressed with Steve Mitchel efforts with this one. This is the only minecraft book I can say that I would recommend to any fan of the game! Overall great product.
