What could be better than a calendar that comes with 12 quilt patterns? This is exactly what Quilt Calendar 2013 by That Patchwork Place has. A tear-out section allows you to use your calendar and be able to sew a quilt no matter what month it is. Each quilt is shown on the top page and the bottom has the calendar. There is also a month before and month after smaller calendar. The squares are large enough to allow you to note your appointments/meetings/activities.The tear-out section has complete instructions for each quilt showing the quilt size, materials, needed, and cutting and sewing directions. There are graphics to guide you along and if templates are needed, they are provided as well.This is my favorite calendar of all that are published and associated with quilts. All the others only show pictures of the quilts while this one actually gives you the patterns. This is the only calendar I would buy for my quilting room.
This calendar is like candy to a quilter. The pictures are great inspiration all year, then I have the patterns so I can make my favorites. On top of that, the daily squares allow space for birthdays, anniversaries, appointments, trip dates, etc. I try to have a quilt calendar in 2 or 3 rooms in the house just for fun.
LOVE THIS!!! I'm a longtime quilter and love getting at least one wall calendar each year that has great quilt photos and patterns included. This is a great one!!! Any quilter (or quilt lover) will be thrilled with this one.
It was so nice to find a quilting calendar that featured the pattern for the quilts that were shown. I gave it to my sister for Christmas and she was very pleased.
