A wonderful book for very young children! I loved the book so much, I ordered another one...as well as some of the other "animals" in the series (I call it a series because they are all by the same author)I would highly recommend them for anyone with a child 3 and under (my opinion).The book is especially cute because you can make the head move with your finger and as you open the next page...the horse is still there...
This is a really cute little book. My 2 year old granddaughter was scared of the finger puppet. She ran clear out of the room. Now 3 months later her older sister is teaching her how to put her finger in the puppet hole... Too cute and all is well
This book is so cute! My little boy loves the horse. To him it's like it's alive and he cannot figure out how it is moving :) he is 4 months though so I am sure he will figure it out as he gets older but still loves it! I hVe gotten it as a gift for friends too.
I gave this as part of a baby shower gift to a fellow horse lover and rider. It is adorable and was the hit of the shower. People can't pick up this book without sticking their finger in the horse's head and going through the book. I can't wait to have grandchildren and get one of these to read to them.
Smaller than expected but VERY cute! Finger puppet is adorable and the book is fun to read. Conveniently, the horse can slide back into the book some, allowing the book to sit on shelf nicely with other books.
My son loves all these finger puppet books! We started introducing them when he was 6 month old. His favorites are the Little Horse and Itsy Bitsy Spider. His face lights up every time we read him one of these books!
I bought a good portion of this series for my baby niece (6 months). She particularly loves her "horsey book", and actually is consistently picking it out over other options for story time. She seems to be attracted to the bright colors and the easily manipulable finger puppet. The finger puppet really helps to keep her attention. Her mom also really gets into the reading and does lots of "performing" for her.
My 2 year old son recently has an obsession the farm and farm animals especially being fond of horses so when I saw this book it was a must have for our collection. He got a kick out of the puppet and the story was adorable too. Glad I bought it.
