I am a Puerto Rican living in Massachusetts, and I'm raising my children bilingual in English and Spanish. My Kindergartener and 1st grade boys LOVED the book. The illustrations are fantastic and the story super far fetched but cute. I read it to the whole 1st Grade class (but explained each page in English too) and all the kids loved it, and they were all saying "Koki, Koki, Kiki Koki" by the end. Please note that the book is completely in Spanish. Highly recommended for the K-2 grade age group!

My kids ask for me to read the story every night! We love this book. We live in PR and at the end I get to ask them do you here them calling Koki?A mis niños les encanta este libro y me piden leerlo todas las noches. Vivimos en PR y all final de la historia les pregunto: ¿escuchan las ranas llamar a Koki?

Such a cute story! Bought this for my niece and she loves it. I'm trying to get her to learn to read in spanish and I think this book really got her wanted to read.

Beautiful story set in Puerto Rico. Wonderful use of colors and great message. Bought in English and then in Spanish. One of my favourite books for my 4 year old.
