I purchased this book for my 15 month old grandson who enjoys this type of interactive book. He also spends a lot of his summer at the beach so I thought he might enjoy the connection. Although, he's a little too young to give me a complete review, he certainly seems like he's having fun when we read the book. The faces that he makes in the mirror page are a delight! This book is also quite sturdy which is nice for a traveling toddler. Giggles of fun!

Noodle books are the very best and the favorite of my baby grandson, Welles. He loves for me to read them to him and really enjoys looking at the colors and textures in the book. He especially likes kissing the baby in the mirror at the end of the book.

We have read all 8 of the Noodle Loves series. I think they are the best touch and feel type board books I've seen so far. It is pretty obvious that most toddler board books do not have a lot of plot or storyline since they are only about 6 pages long. For this type of "touch and feel" book, I look at the quality, size and variety of textures as well as the durability of the board book itself. My 1 1/2 year old has loved the textures in these books much more than DK Baby Touch and Feel. And while they are not as durable as the Usborne That's Not My series that have a glossy, thick cover, they are still fairly sturdy books and I like that these books have basic scenes on each page and have the same characters (usually Noodle, mommy, sometimes daddy). We bought all eight titles from Walmart online at a more competitive price than what I found on .These books have vibrant illustrations and have a simple story line about Noodle the panda ("Noodle loves...Noodle loves" with a basic rhyme structure). The story is over quickly but keeps my son's attention.I rate the 8 of the series in this order (the first five I think are best, the other three I don't think are worth buying):Noodle Loves BedtimeNoodle Loves the FarmNoodle Loves the ZooNoodle Loves the BeachNoodle Loves to EatNoodle Loves to CuddleNoodle Loves to DriveNoodle Loves the ParkNoodle Loves the Beach features these textures: padded shiny holographic red pail (cover), fabric vinyl sail, sandcastle of sandpaper, glitter holographic water, a sticky peach, and a mirror sunThe textures found in this book are of good size.I have made two attempts to purchase this title from Walmart, only to find each one has misaligned pages or some kind of wear to the cover. I haven't had any experience yet with 's copies yet.

This has interactive features on every page! Purchased for a 1 year old's birthday and I think it was an immediate hit. I hope they'll do a second printing. The peach on the last page is kind of sticky...which was a little odd. Check out Betsy Bird's blog post on this book.

Like all Noodle books, this is a huge hit with our toddler. She really started enjoying them around age 9mo and continues to keep up with Noodle's activities. I think this is one of the better ones in the Noodle series, especially if you want to give your child an interest in the beach.

Went to the library with my one-year-old son this afternoon and he picked this book on his own. He flipped through it a few times so we decided to borrow it. At home, son picks up the book and goes through it, so I guess he must like it. I think he especially enjoys the page that has the mirror, just like the one he reads in Pat The Bunny.

My daughter is a HUGE fan of the Noodle series. I have borrowed all of them from the library. The only ones I felt compelled to purchase was this one , Noodle goes to the beach, and Noodle loves to color. I felt the rest were mediocre touch books.
