Excellent early reader for young children. There are only a few simple words frequently repeated in rhyme (which young kids love). Helps young children feel a sense of mastery when they can read a "whole" book. Probably best suited for the 3-6 year old range.

I love the older Berenstain Bears books. They have easy text for new readers and fun, engaging stories, and this one is no exception.
Through this book, Big Bear and Small Bear are constantly getting each others things.Very funny illustrations paired with simple, repetitive text - just the thing for young children.Interesting how the naked bears put on bathing suits to go in the water, though....
My 3.5 year love this series and can pick up words very fast after reading several times to him.
