This book is the bigger version of 365 Animal Stories, I didn't expect the content to be exactly the same, as I already have. Nevertheless, I like it so much that I don't mind. I bought the 365 Goodnight Stories as well. Love these 365 Stories collection. The illustration pictures always caught my boy's attention.
I haven't read all the stories yet but this book is nice and heavy, well made, and a nice addition to bedtime story time. The cover seems like it has foam under it and you can press it down a bit. It's 8" x 6 1/2" and 1 1/4" thick. It has 384 pages including the index.
We've had this book about 6 weeks and were disappointed to see that the binding is well on its way to detaching from the pages. We were also hoping for dated stories; a paragraph or two for each day of the year like our other 365 book. However, this book offers a great variety of classic and new material, short rhymes to stories several pages long. There is also an index for when kids are able to request specific stories verbally. The illustrations are pleasant and colorful without being to bright. Overall a good bedtime standby with just a couple of issues.
Wow, what a nice book. A lot of beautiful stories and pictures. Great quality. It arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. It's actually a little heavier than I was expecting, but that's just because there are so many pages. It seems to have a good mix of well-known stories and some new ones too. I gave this as a gift at a baby shower and they were very pleased with it.
My little one loves the beautiful colors in this book it has become a part of our bedtime routine. It has so many stories and rhymes that we never run out of things to read to our daughter. It's nice because the book is a small size that it isn't heavy yet is big enough that she is able to enjoy all of the artwork.
I bought this book for my daughter when she was 3 months in the womb. It is a beautifully illustrated book that contains many stories and rhymes. It has all the classics as well as many lesser heard poems and stories. Stories are varying lengths. Some are multiple pages and some are simple little verses. Pictures are vibrant and book is very well put together. We have read stories to her (still unborn) and cant wait to read them to her as an infant / child. This is a great book to add to your child's collection. We cannot wait to read to our baby girl at night.
For such a reasonable price, this is a great great book and saviour for parents like us who don't remember or know any stories and nursery rhymes, Beautiful pictures throughout the book to just show the baby for learning and keeps them engaged very well.
Gave these as a gift for a baby shower, the parents are thrilled to have stories to read to their new baby everyday of the year. They are looking forward to many years of sharing this book with their little one.
