My son is OBSESSED with Daniel Tiger. We regularly use the songs to help him understand what is going on in his life. I never thought I'd love a show as much as I do Daniel. We have a lot of Daniel books, and this has quickly become his favorite. It doesn't follow a specific show, but has parts of Daniel's day. My son loves turning the clock, and the teacher in me loves explaining time to him even though I know he doesn't understand it at 2. The story follows Daniel's day and shows that different things happen at different times. We use Daniel's morning routine, so my son could tell me the morning part. This is a must have for any Daniel fan!
Bright colors and good illustrations as usual with a Daniel Tiger product, however, this book is moving to the giveaway pile. The story should more specifically say that 7 am is Daniels time to get ready for school and 6 is Daniels time for dinner and 7 is Daniels bathtime, purses even posing the question, "When do you ususlly..." my other complaint is the hands on the clock quickly became completely free wheeling and will not stay where placed unless you have the book laid flat, which is not how I hold a book for reading.
It's a good book. The only thing is both hands go to the spot indicated. I thought it'd be telling time and putting the hands in real time. But it works for my son to read and interact with.
Great book. Our little guy loves the hands of the clock and of course, the great illustrations and story. We love the Lessons! Great book for toddlers 2 and older.
