"It was December 20, only five days until Christmas, and the Littlest Tree was at a Christmas tree stand on the main street of town." -- From the bookFeaturing solft watercolors on glossy pages, this delightful story tells the tale of a tiny tree's one Christmas wish: it wants someone to take it home, decorate it and put presents under its branches. But as Christmas Eve comes to an end, all of the Christmas trees have been taken to their new homes...except for the Littlest Christmas Tree. It looks as if its wish won't come true......until the unexpected happens! The Littlest Christmas Tree is a wonderful book to read to younger children during the holidays, as well as a great book for beginning readers (or those that love Christmas stories!). It's not too short, and not too long--just right for those wintry nights begging to be filled with a gentle Christmas story about wishes coming true...Janet Boyer, author of The Back in Time Tarot Book

The Littleest Christmas Tree is a cute book. Its a story about a Christmas tree that no one wanted to bring home becauseit was too small. All the little tree wanted was to be a Christmas tree. It has a very nice and happy ending. My daughter really enjoyed this book.

I gave this book to my best friend's 2-year old daughter, and she loved it. She immediately delighted in the illustrations on each page and started to identify the different animals in the story. Her mom read the book to her as a bedtime story that night, and they especially enjoyed singing part of the lyrics of "O Christmas Tree" that were written into the story. I also ordered a plush stuffed Christmas mouse toy for the child to go along with the mice on the cover of the book. I thought the mice would be the ones who ended up with the littlest Christmas tree, but (spoiler alert!) the mice don't end up with the tree in the story...the squirrels who run the Christmas tree stand actually take it home and make it their own tree. No problem, the toy was still a big hit just like this book!

Our preschooler loves this book. The illustrations just draw you in to this little town of animals who are readying for Christmas. The story isn't a roller coaster of action. It's just right for a bedtime or quiet time story. Highly recommended.

This is the kind of book that you will read every Christmas Eve as your kids grow and new siblings appear. My only complaint is the stickers that are supposed to be scratch and sniff don't really do anything. I think they're just old and tired.

This is a very cute story with lovely illustrations. My son reads this book almost every night since he got it. He took this book to his preschool twice before Christmas holidays and his teachers enjoyed reading the book as much as the kids enjoyed listening.I am very happy with the purchase.

This book is really really cute. And as fate would have it, I read it to my 5 year old on Christmas (I hadn't read it before) and it turns out the little critter who get's the smallest tree, his name is the same as my sons. His eyes lit up immediately, it was really the cutest thing! If your kid loves christmas, decorating, trees the whole deal then this is the perfect little book to add to your collection. It's not a hard cover, but it's the content that is sweet and perfect for christmas.

This is a sweet little Christmas book. As a family we love reading together and it was enjoyed by everyone, myself included.
