We ordered this set after purchasing one of the books while in Florida for our 5 yr. old granddaughter. She couldn't get enough of it. She had me read the whole book the first day and has had me read it 2 more times, thus the reason we ordered the set for Christmas for her.
My daughter is fascinated with mermaids and this book set just amplified it. She read through these books in two weeks and loved every minute of it. Excellent source of entertainment for her. If your child loves mermaids I highly recommend these.
My daughter was 6 when I purchased these for her. She absolutely loved them and had reread them already. cute stories
Got these for my first grader and we love reading them together. She used one for a book report; I had her read a chapter first, and helped her with the big (e.g. hippocampus) words and new words, and then I read it back to her again so she could enjoy the story. I like the sense of humor and the way the stories integrate some learning about sea life. They are really delightful all around. Absolutely recommend.
