If anyone needs a thank you gift for a green thumb neighbor, this calendar is cool! I gave calendar as a gift to dedicated gardener who is looking forward to displaying it in 2012!
Flowers 2012 Gallery Calendar (Page a Day Gallery Calendar)This Page-a-Day Gallery type calendar is in a clear plastic display, with the current day unobstructed by the display case. This is a vertical desk top calendar, it stands 7 1/4" x 6 1/4" thus not taking up too much desk space. Each day you take the front picture and place it at the back of the "stack", now showing the current day. The color pictures are beautiful, with almost a full page picture along with a short description of the flower. I agree with another reviewer, that this would be a great, unique gift for any gardner. Plus there is a great variety of other Page-a-Day Gallery designs to choose from.
This calendar is much nicer than the average page-a-day calendar. The photos are a nice mixture of indoor and outdoor shots, and the flowers on each page are identified and sometimes the location of the outdoor shots is also given. The page holder is nicer than average also. I am very much hoping that there will be a refill for next year and many years to come.
I gave the Flowers 2012 calendar out for Christmas gifts last year. All have loved it. I also bought one for myself. The only complaint has been the few pictures that are old fashioned drawings. They are not colorful or as pretty as real pictures.
