Adorable illustrations and a fun read with children. Really liked seeing different dinosaur names but could be challenging for a child trying to read the book. I bought this book for my twin nephews, so it was a pleasant surprise to see they had included twins in the book. We are a big fan of Sandra Boynton and this book was another hit!
This book is PERFECT!Of course, it's easily lyrical (which are her best) and our kids LOVED reading it the first night we had it home. We read it three times!!The entire book is about different types of dinosaurs doing different dance moves. Educational in the names of different dinosaurs and it encourages kids to get up and move. Kids will have no problem acting out any dance moves the dinosaurs are doing. Super colorful, incredibly interactive, definitely a book you could read in a group setting or for a children's reading time.
Our toddler is obsessed with Oh My, Oh My, Oh Dinosaur so we had really high hopes for this one. It just sort of fell flat for me. It isn't quite as inventive as her other books and didn't engage our little one as much as Oh My- we'll stick with that one and pass this one along to a friend.
Preordered and just got earlier this week in the mail. I figured my 2 year old daughter would love because she loves dinosaurs and dancing around (and pretty much any book by this author). I had to read this book no less than 100 times as she danced around the living room. Unfortunately my dog chewed up copy #1 after owning for only one day. Normally I'd cut my losses but she loved it so much I ordered another copy. Cute book!
I am a big fan of her books but this is one if the worst Sandra Boynton kids books I've ever read. There is no flow, the story makes no sense and it doesn't even interested my son who is 23 months. I wouldn't recommend this one. I'd give it no stara but that wasn't an option.
My two year old loves this, the only complaint I have is it could be a little longer. He makes me read it over and over and over, and I just wish it had more content. It's so awesome, there should be more of it!
My four year old is in love with Boynton books, and this one does not disappoint. Cute illustrations, catchy wording, and a fun ending, keeps it happy happy in our house. He has even already memorized the book (for the most part since some dino names are tough) and has been reading it to himself at night.A super fun and cure dino book from Boynton.
we just got it so we've only read it a couple of times - but my 10 month old finds this book hilarious!
