For the most part an effort was made to change facial features to show different ethnicities. Surprised that they didn't include African-American jumping of the broom. Includes: Nigeria, Austria, Bali, China, England, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hawaii, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jewish, Korea, Morocco, Native American, Norway, Philippines, Portugal, Scotland, South American, Spain, Thailand, Tibet, US (caucasian couple), West Java (Sundanese), US ("Western").
The details of the pictures and the descriptions at the bottom of each picture are reasonably well-done, but the pictures are printed front and back, and the paper is a relatively lightweight stock making the book thin & flimsy. It is not up to the standards I am accustomed to as far as an adult coloring book goes, especially for the price. Overall, the quality of the book was a disappointment.
Santa got this for my ten year old DD, who is constantly "marrying" her Barbies to each other. She loves it! And, my 15 year old DD surprisingly likes it a lot, as well. (She said Santa should've gotten it for HER.) She even showed it to her teenaged friends when they were over! We love reading about all the different wedding traditions from around the world. Score!
It is our tradition to buy this coloring book for all of the engaged women in our family. It is a silly, fun way to get into the wedding spirit. I am glad they continue to print this, it is really lovely!
This coloring book is very cute, and it makes a good gift for children in a wedding party. The book is very sturdy and arrived in perfect condition.
