I really wanted to snatch this from my daughter's hands and grab some paint or colored pencils. This book has a ton of illustrations and it's SO THICK. This is a great book for the money and would keep your daughter (or you) entertained for a loooonnnggg time. It's creative!
The title of this book is very misleading. I bought it for my 8 year old. She wants to be a fashion designer and I thought this would be great for her. It has nothing to design or draw. It's nothing more than a coloring book. Both she and I were VERY disappointed. She got the book, her eyes got big with excitement when she read the cover and her face immediately fell when she opened it and saw what it really was. Awful.
this cute lttle book would be fine for a child who likes to color. the book is full of young ladies wearing different styles of clothing. all one has to do is use their imagination to design the garments with color pencils or crayons. the books shows young ladies wearing dresses, blouses, pants, shorts, slippers, boots, heels, sneakers, roller skates and ice skates. very cute.
this is a very cute book page after page of girls in all kinds of outfits, it would be the perfect book to learn how to draw a figure or a book to color in. I think it is a very sweet book, but it is page after page of girls in skirts and shirts and dresses and that is all it really is, more of a coloring book then anything. but it doesn't have a story or anything like that its mainly a book full of images of girls. really cute.
This is exactly what I was looking for...the pages are full of young ladies wearing all styles of clothes waiting to be designed. My daughter loves adding color and detail to clothes, but the stencil fashion books out there aren't what she likes.
VERY DISAPPOINTING! COULD HAVE BOUGHT A COLORING BOOK FOR $1 WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS BOOK, IT'S A WASTE OF MONEY
My girls are 4, 6, 8 and love this book! They could spend hours just drawing it. Great for all ages! I even doodle in it a little :)
Bought as a gift for a creative niece and she loved it. she got to "work" immediately. How wonderful to give a gift that will make children create rather than continue to rely on technology for stimulation.
