For bird lovers of all ages. Inexpensive, 30 different bird species illustrated, many include both males and females. This book is a favorite for many of my school aged grandchildren. The birds are identified by name on each page, so my grandchildren use my Bird identification book as a coloring guide and complete their picture with either crayons or colored pencils. Many of the pictures feature both the male and female of each species. The combination of looking up the birds and coloring them helps my grandchildren remember and easily identify the birds outside at my bird feeder and in the woods. They are especially excited when they spy a female and male and can tell me or their parents what bird it is.I like to color and practice colored pencil techniques on these birds with my grandchildren.
