Adoniram Judson was an amazing man of God who pressed thru absolutely incredibly difficult situations to bring the gospel to those who hadn't heard it before. I thought this book would be good for my 7 year old daughter. It was a bit over my 2 year olds head but at the same time a bit too simple for my 7 year old.The book has kind of a Dr. Seuss "Cat in the hat" type rhythm to it. Maybe some might like that for the sake of remembering the details? I found it a bit annoying as accuracy and clear communication obviously played 2nd and 3rd fiddle to using a word that rhymed.Most of the extreme and exciting things Adoniram went thru were't mentioned which is understandable as it is a childrens book. It's got that "safe for the whole family" style which unfortunately comes across insepid.
This was a short concise story about Mr. Judson. His great grandparents wanted a copy since he was named Judson they were very pleased.
