Loved it PS martyrs in this context has nothing to do will killing
This is my favorite book in this series. The stories include little known facts about the inspiring heroes of faith.
Bought several from this author for gifts and the boys (and Parents) really loved the positive message.
A gift to a grandson with heroes to emulate.

Finally! I have been hoping for a way to get my kids to avoid "giving in" to reality. In this internet age where people can just look stuff up, it's hard to find books that encourage kids to die for bronze age superstition. Thank you Light-keepers and Irene Howat for giving us parents the tools to indoctrinate our children and perpetuate another generation willing to die for voluntary stupidity!
Nothing says "Christian" quite like dying for the stupidest of reasons. No child should pay the ultimate price for following an imaginary friend.
