This is a great book. But the order goes by the regions such as coastle. This is just not what I like why I can't deduct any stars it just annoys me but it does make sense. With the new full pokedex coming out in 2015 this book will become obsolete though.
My son loved/loves this book. But the way he runs through it, it has taken it's toll! He has worn these handbooks out.The one thing they are all missing though are the weaknesses and strengths. He is always asking me to look those up for him.
My kids saw this at the book fair earlier this year and really wanted it. I decided to pass on it then and get it for their birthday. It was a big his. My son wants me to look at with him every night!
Nothing in its description said anything about the fact that this is ONLY a Pokedex, and not a great Pokedex at that. Doesn't even tell what level Pokemon evolve, or how to make them evolve. I was hoping that this was a guidebook, or at least had tips, but it doesn't.
I purchased this for my 7 year old. It was really good price for a very colorful book. He loves learning about the different Pokemon characters. This is a great reference to anyone looking to expand their knowledge. It is also great for the parent to better understand what their child is talking about.

Bought this for my nine year old grandson. He loves the book! He finds the information fascinating and loves to draw all the pokemon characters. The book is printed in vibrant color and on quality paper. It was a great find and I couldn't be happier.
Looks to be a huge Pokemon based book my daughter will love. I can't wait for her to receive it Christmas morning. It came so fast and in excellent condition!!!
