This is a great book for my 6 year old son. He enjoys reading the fun facts! I would recommend to parents with children that don't yet LOVE to read. This will get them really interested in learning more and reading more!
This is a good book, but it looks more advanced than any other level 2 books that we own. Maybe DK has a different standard for each level, but it was way too many words in comparison with what my daughter is used to for that level.
This book is a fantastic reader for kids (level 2) or for you to read with your 3-5 year old. It has great pictures of some beautiful buildings. It is a fun way to expose your kids to different countries' building from now and in history. Buildings include the Eiffel Tower, Colosseum, Sydney Opera House, etc. Interesting facts & tidbits! Buy it to read again and again.
My 4 year old daughter loved this book. She was really awed by looking at the pictures of various amazing buildings around the world and learning some details about them. After reading every page she would say - 'I want to go here!', 'I want to go here too!' I am giving it 4 stars because I felt that the book could have had some more buildings.
It is very well written and age appropriate. It is easy to read with some difficult words. Your child will also enjoy learning about the buildings in the book. It is worth getting.
not a level 2 reader (more advanced)
Bought this book for my 7 year old grandson who loves seeing how things are made and put together, along with the necessary process to accomplish building something. He likes the book very well,.
The book arrived on time. It makes very good reading for children and is educational. Would recommend highly. I plan to purchase more when available.
