When I first looked at the title/price of this book, I thought it was overpriced for a sticker book. But then I actually leafed through it and saw it was so much more. This isn't your typical coloring book where you add a few stickers. This is like a real book where you get to add the photos. My son (age 7) LOVED it. Once the stickers were all placed, we removed the empty sticker sheets and he's been reading it over and over just like a regular book. These DK books are awesome.
I was very disappointed in this one. It might have been 12 pages. The figures were to be moved from the original sticky page to within the corresponding outlines on another page. No background, no story. For a book that advertised itself as the Classic, Ultimate Star Wars sticker book, it fell flat. No pun intended. If you want stickers to put on gifts or something else, this is fine. But it's not an interesting fun book for Star Wars enthusiasts. It's only $7.99 or so, and wasn't worth sending back. I don't know what I'm going to do with it.
The book had so few pages my daughter was finished with it in about 30 minutes. We had purchased other sticker books last year form Costco by a different publisher that were wonderful and so much better. I would not purchase this book again very disappointing.
Disappointed this was such a tiny book. My boys finished it in minutes. The books with over 1000 stickers are a much better value.
My 4 year old loves the stickers! They are good quality photographs. It is a great learning tool in that it helps him identify which pictures match with the shapes. He is also interested in the background stories in each category. For 4 pages of stickers and 8 pages to place them on, this is a great price!
Sticker goodness in officially licensed merchandise from Star Wars- you gotta love it. Especially appreciate the part where if you are very careful you can peel off the sticker and put it on a smidge closer to where you intended for it to land. Bright colors in the stickers themselves, and a nice variety of representations of the basics of the series.The only improvement would be: more stickers (its just a bit short, but I knew that going in,) and a scene where you could pick and choose what sticker goes where. This booklet has a (single) place for everything, and something more open ended wold have been better. Still, it was a lot of fun and we enjoyed putting on the stickers of our long loved characters.
I understand that this was my bad for not reading the description better, but I bought this because it was on sale for $6 or something like that. I actually ordered two. My boys have had sticker books like this before and loved them, however the ones they've gotten before are like 50 pages. This one contained like 3 pages of stickers. I feel like I could buy something like this at the dollar store. I was very disappointed.
I originally bought this to make my son's valentines day cards with but he got his hands on it first. He absolutely loved it. He decorated his valentines day cards and his mailbox for his cards with these stickers. Then was able to also use the book itself for stickers.
