Very good editing, for example page 22 introduces a 7C? , which should be a D7. Previously on the same page a D7 should have been a C. You can see this by looking at page 23 which has the correct chords. Same with page 24. The 7C shows up again, not previously shown.I can't see how this book can help teach anyone the correct way to play a guitar
Do not order this book. The chords are wrong. I was going to return it but no time before Christmas so I corrected the chords. It baffles me how it found its way into print with so many mistakes!
I am 58 and though for kids I learned a lot and with arthritis this was easy on my fingers until I could get used to it and everything was easy and fun. I recommend this for anyone wanting to learn. I took lessons for professionals and I learned more from this book than others. I been trying to learn over six years this is the first time I felt I learned something and ready to go to a new book to learn more
I bought this book upon the recommendation of a friend, and it was a great suggestion. The instructions are easy to follow for both unmusical parents and beginner children. It's obviously written by someone who is not only a really experienced musician, but also someone who is passionate about inspiring others. Absolutely recommended.
Nice easy book for kids to follow. My daughter liked the fun illustrations and songs and loved making up her own little limericks to play along to. Pleased with this, did exactly what we wanted. Now sheâs set to start proper lessons and this has given her a real head start.
This book will prove helpful to teach students with small hands. It does help to be able to sing or at least know the songs that are used for the basic chords. These songs are familiar to most people. There is a nice section on selecting and holding a guitar.
Great book to get my son started with his new guitar- I bought it as a birthday gift and he was playing away and learned his first chords within an hour. Very impressed! Great book, good value. Ideal for kids learning guitar.
I bought this for my nephew but there is very little instruction in this book. It shows you how to hold the guitar and teaches the basic parts with a diagram. I suggest skipping this book as it won't provide much, if any, help.
