Bought this set to break up and use as favors for our daughter's birthday party for the youngest guests. Each of the four books are really cute, with the pages being really thick so that even with only a handful of pages, the books end up being cubes. Great for little hands, though, and our guests loved them!
My son LOVES these books!! He loves the silly pictures and stories that they tell, even though he is still so little I think he understands them. I know the "Mommy's coffee is yucky" has been working! He also loves to stack them up and knock them down. He is also teething and tends to chew on them occasionally and they hold up really well. I highly recommend these books! They are so cute.
My daughter loved Leslie Patricelli's Potty book when she was one year old. I always meant to buy more of her books, but forgot until she was too old. I purchased these books for my infant son. My daughter immediately recognized the style and loves them all. My son is too young to show his interest yet, but I suspect he'll be a fan. I actually like the small size of the books - it makes them fun. The idea of them being blocks, however, is kind of comical.
These books are wonderful and my 14 month old loves manipulating the pages, stacking the books, and just generally playing with them. Unfortunately, the binding is (quite literally) paper tape. Within minutes of handing my little one a book, she had (in regular 14 month old play) separated the binding from the sturdy pages. I kept them because I wanted to see if she liked the stories. Now, I have purchased the larger sized books, and she enjoys them immensely. It just doesn't make sense to have nice, sturdy pages tied together with paper tape. Very disappointing.
These books are tiny- about the size of a post-it note. I was expecting something a little bigger and little more well-made. The binding of each book seems to be tape. I'm not sure how long these will last with my son, but he loves the Leslie Patricelli books so I'm giving them to him for Christmas anyway.
The books are cute and pretty small so they're easy for baby to handle. They also appear to be pretty durable. My baby is notorious for destroying...everything...but all 4 books are in tact still and she plays with them regularly.
We have used these books since birth to teach our now 21m/o so many "life lessons"-eat healthy food-respect our books and pets-potty train-hold hands when walking together-share toysetc etc...
I purchased this item for my 15 month old. He loves looking thru these books. They are small and chunky and are easy for him to hold and flip thru. I really like the illustrations in these books and so does my baby. I did purchase a couple of the full size books after I received these because I enjoyed them so much. My baby was very excited to see those as well. I think this item would make a good gift as well.
