The My Big Board Book series is great! This book is a little confusing about the title.There are four total pages with straight counting with actual numbers:- 1 page inside the front cover counting 1-10- 2 pages counting 1-12- 1 page at the end counting 1-100The rest of the book consists of puzzles (can you count this? which one is in the wrong order? etc.)I would have preferred that more of the book contain the numbers 1-100.
There is only one place in this book where it shows any number over 12 and that's on the last page of the book. I should have known that it would not be this easy to find a brightly colored picture filled book that teaches the first 100 numbers. I will pay closer attention the next time that I place an ordered.
this will be a very for good first book for any child that has any interest in books. It will be a good book to sit down with the child would be able to answer questions and provoke questions of your own, such as do you know what this number is, you know what this letter is you know what this thing is, it will be something that will keep a child entertained for very long time
I love this book! My grandkids, ages 20 months to 4 years can use this books independently and together! It's fun to sit with them and watch as they learn. They are simply fascinated by the pictures! The 4 year old is learning and reinforcing what she already knows which in turn encourages the three year old to follow suit.
I like this book very much, but 1 to 100 numbers are written on chicken images and they are not dark enough, white number on a yellow chicken is not visible very clearly.this is only on the last page of the book.otherwise all the words are very good, creative images , my toddler loves this book.
I was looking for a book for my 3-year-old that contained more counting numbers than just up to 10. When I first got this book I thought it might be too young for him, but upon a closer look, it's perfect! It contains so many pictures and numbers with questions like, "which puzzle has the most missing pieces?" which makes it a great book that he can grow into. It would also be great for younger ones because of all of the bright colors and pictuers. It's on the larger side for a board book, but not too big, and he loves pointing out all of the pictures and practicing counting. I highly recommend this book for all ages!
Roger Priddy never disappoints! I got this one (of all of his books that I have gotten for my child) just at the point in my child's school career where they are beginning to learn about numbers and adding, subtracting. Very nice! I would recommend this to parents of children in preschool/kindergarten.
He always wants to eat because of all the lovely food pictures, I also bought one for my nephew and it's a total hit at their house. It's a little large, I didn't look at the measurements prior to buying( who would?) so maybe not a car book, but it's bright and is sure to capture any toddlers attention.
