If you want a book that has texture for baby to feel - this is not the one you want. Cute pictures - but I could not find any textures. I would return except for the hassle.
My niece requested touch & feel books for our 1 y.o. great nieces. These books are okay, but the actual "touch & feel" pieces are very limited & not that tactile. Book itself is okay, but disappointed in the main feature.
In all honesty, I don't know how you would really make a touch and feel winter book. Wooly mittens, maybe? It is a cute book, just don't expect little texture loves to be entranced by the "touch and feel."
Cute book, but I expected there to be more textured pages. It's definitely not a "must have" for our bookshelf
We would have liked to see more "Touch and Feel" in this book. More pictures of real objects would have been nice too.
Cute little book for baby, with shiny elements as well as photographs and drawings. Thick cardboard pages which are great for little fingers, and simple words relating to winter. This is a whole series, which includes Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, as well as Easter and Christmas. The Halloween book is called Spooky. My only complaint about this book is that the word for Snowman, pictured on the front cover, is not included- possibly because there is a Snowman in the Christmas book, so they were trying to avoid repetition? And some words hardly associated with Winter, like wolf, are included, while other words that would be more relevant, like mittens, are not.
Cute book for what it is- just a touch and feel book. The pages have a word and image with an interactive feature of some type. I'm just not crazy for these books. To say they lack substance seems obvious but I don't want to discredit them too much. They're a cute addition to the bookshelf but don't much from them. (Thus ends the most ambivalent review of all time.)
This book claims to be a touch and feel book but hardly any of the pages have pictures that babies can actually touch and feel. A picture that is shiny is not considered something you can feel. Its a cute book but just mislabeled
