Miranda Paul does it again! We own her other two books - Water is Water and One Plastic Bag - and love them. This book shows Paul's playful side. She's a master of rhyme and fun. Kids will love the counting down and the ninjas' antics. Dare I say, "sensei-tional"? :-)
Bought as a gift for a 3 year olds birthday. My toddler loved it so much(before wrapping it) she requested I buy one for her. Cute rhymes and lively fun pictures. Great twist on monkeys jumping on the bed. Definitely gives more to look at than counting monkeys. Keeps a toddler engaged as each page is a different character and the rhyme slightly changes throughout. It includes mommy and daddy and 10 kids. Great bed time story as it flows nicely and ends quietly.

I just ordered this excellent bedtime (or anytime) story. I love how the familiar "10 little monkeys" shifts not only to Ninjas, but also to several other fun pretend characters. Takes the story to a new level. And the illustrations are so much fun. Looking forward to the "Again, again!" that I'll hear from my little ninjas, or astronauts, or...etc.
This is a delightful book that everyone in the family will love! Every parent who has struggled to keep their child in bed, and every child who has tried sneaking out, will giggle their way through this imaginative book. The familiar tune and fun illustrations grab the reader right from the start. As expected, Miranda Paul delivers another excellent story written in superb rhyme.
