I have purchased this calendar for the last three years. Christopher Gruver is a gifted artist who brings flowers to life in this stunning calendar.The "poetic interludes" that accompany the photos are timeless. "Now and then it's good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy" That poetic interlude is for the month of September (my birthday month) and is accompanied by a photo of a Crazy Gerbera. Amber Lotus produces the calendars and, "is committed to socially and environmentally sustainable business practices". I support all companies that are environmental stewards. You should too!
I purchase this calendar every year. I never tire of the photographer's unique and graceful presentation of both familiar and exotic flowers. It has led me to a deeper appreciation for the beauty of creation. The quotations are thoughtfully chosen and inspiring, but offered in a small unobtrusive font, so that the photography always takes center stage. This calendar is perfect for both personal and professional settings.
