This is a great looking calender. It looks great in our kitchen. Although, to be honest, we keep track of dates on our phones now, we just wanted something that would look nice on the wall and this one fit the bill.
FLOWERS: A UNIVERSE REVEALED is a beautiful wall calendar. The close-up floral photographs resemble abstract art. The photographs are so pretty, you can look at them easily for a month without getting tired of them.I particularly like the design of the calendar portion. The calendar has date numbers that are large enough to be read from a short distance, and the squares are large enough for entering important appointments and tasks. The squares include standard holidays, but aren't cluttered up with extra things like "flower facts". Also, each calendar page includes both a "previous month" and a "next month" mini-calendar for quick reference.
I absolutely love this calender. The photographs of the flowers are stunning and the excerpts from poems by various poets are beautiful. There is ample room to write notes or appointments on the calendars. I especially like the black background on each photograph = compliments my white, black, and touch of red kitchen. I can't say enough about Christopher Gruver's photography. The bleeding heart photo really captured my attention because it was a flower that my grandmother planted years ago and I have taken a piece of the plant with me to every place I have moved to. Kudos to Christopher Gruver for evoking wonderful memories with that one photo.
This calendar has beautiful pictures of individual flowers. However, I prefer to see flowers in the garden where they are in context. The greenery that ordinarily accompanies flowers is missing from this calendar. But the flowers are strikingly beautiful.
Beautiful floral calendar. Wish I had ordered a few more as gifts. It has plenty of space daily to notate appointments .
The pictures are fabulous and the calendar portion is printed well and easy to read from a distance. If you like flowers, this is a great calendar to get for yourself or give as a gift.
I love flower photos and these are beautiful. The photos inside are actually much better than the one on the cover. I wish the photographer would make a book of his pictures.
Dramatic photos that look lovely on my kitchen wall as well as having numbers big enough for me to read without my glasses and squares big enough to write notes in.
