This book delivers just what it promises, and has proven crucial for my diverse student population. Other teachers borrow this book from me to plan their own lessons, but I've told them to go buy their own copy from now on.

This is an excellent book to use to introduce famous Hispanic Americans to our diverse population of learners. I highly recommend this book for everyone, especially teachers. Hispanic Heritage Month is Sept.15-Oct. 15, what a better way to celebrate than to read one short factual account of a famous Hispanic American each day to our students. The variety of Hispanics presented in this book is sure to resonate with students as they learn about their lives and success. The artwork is beautiful to look at as well.

Beautiful art work. Brief, well written biographies of Hispanic Americans. I purchased the book so that Hispanic members of my family would have the opportunity to appreciate their heritage. A good choice for young readers.

This is a spectacular selection that should be more heavily promoted. So many important people are included-even the brilliant Desi Arnaz Jr. Raul Colon works his magic as usual. He is one of the most talented illustrator's of our time. I just love this book!

Beautiful illustrations, and a great variety of Hispanic people who contributed to our country.

it is a history book, and should have correct historical facts. Ellen Ochoa was NOT the first woman in space.Ellen Ochoa was 5 years old when the first woman went to space.

Very informative book with nice illustrations.

This book is a great quick view of those who helped shaped our country!
