Though this is geared toward kids it is entertaining for adults, too. There are some puzzles that seem to have more hidden objects than are listed in the clues which is a bonus. However, I have noticed that already on a few of the puzzles early into the book (I am only ten or so in) there are clues given for which there is no hidden picture. I had to cheat and look at the answers only to discover that they weren't shown there. For example, the puzzle on page 13 lists eleven clues while there are only nine revealed on the answer page. A 'super challenge' it definitely is when you search and search for a hidden object that doesn't exist. This was frustrating for me, let alone a kid. Priced somewhat high for it to have significant errors such as this.
My husband is pretty much bedridden. These keep his mind active. They're great to take into the office, too. Everyone seems to take a moment to find something; it shifts your thinking a bit. Not a bad idea when the brain needs a break.
I actually love these books, but this book only has the words to the pictures you are supposed to find. It makes it a little harder for my 5 year old to find the pictures as he cannot always read the words. He loves to do them and we do at least one picture a night. It is good quality time that we spend together. I will of coarse order more books like this, I will just make sure they have the pictures in them for him to look at and find. These books are fun for both children and adults. Many times my little man can find these silly things before I can. It's neat to work on their reading skills while making it fun for everyone.
My grandma doesn't get to get out and do many things anymore. She watches some TV still, but we wanted to get her mind working, keep her young. This was perfect. Whenever I go over there she always has a different book like this one, with her glasses on, working away! It's great to give her something that can make her feel accomplished.
Great book for all ages and is not too difficult so it's great for my mother who has dementia. Keeps her mind active.
After spending $35 for an annual subscription to the Highlights magazine, I discovered that the only thing my daughter liked about it was the Hidden Pictures. So for 1/4 the price, she can have tons of hidden pictures in this one book. Genius! Such a fun time filler for car rides, and quiet time, or something we can work on together.
My 9 yr old Grandson can spend hours with these books. Takes them in the car, to restaurants....anywhere he might have to wait for me. We both love these books!
My grandkids, 8 & 6, love these Puzzlemania books so I have purchased several.
