Our 11 yr old grandson just loves these types of books. It keeps him profitably busy even while riding in the car. It is a very educational tool for learning to read and spell; spending time on puzzles, making children really think.
The puzzles are great for my 8 year old ! She loves this book and the fact that there is a little extra something to solve after the word finds makes it even better! She has only done a few so far but we both LOVE this book!
Good book for kids. Different levels of difficulty were great for my 11 year old as the easier ones built her confidence to work on the harder ones. All sorts of word searches so they don't just do the same type over and over again
My kids (ages 11-13) have enjoyed these books ever since they received them as Christmas gifts. Sometimes they work independently; sometimes they work together. It encourages quiet time as well as sibling unity. Sweet! I call that a win-win!
My son is obsessed with this book. He is 7 years old and loves doing these on his own or with me. The book is divided into chapters "animals" "school" etc and also has other fun activities within the crossword puzzles. Often there are extra words or the shape of the words you find spell another word. This has been fantastic to have during trips and to otherwise keep him entertained. Highly recommend!
My granddaughter likes working in my word search books. Thought it was time for her to have her own. She is 7. She loves this. Great way for kids to learn new words and now to spell them. She often asks me what different words mean. Great fun and great learning all in one!!!!

If your kids like worksearchers, then it's a good book. My kids got really tired of the wordsearches, but they did enjoy that there are so many differen types of wordsearches with little secrets, clues, etc. I think it was just a tad bit repetitive for my kids.
