This is hard to review. It's not quite a "For Dummies" book - it's more like a "For 11-year Olds". It is a decent biography, but written for grade-schoolers. For that target readership, it's probably great; but I thought it was an adult-level biography. I got it for a 16-year old friend who is very interested in cinema - but it' reads way below their age level, and I'm sort of embarrassed to give it to them.
My 8yo is a big history buff. He loves who was and who is books. It's at the correct reading level for him.The best about the book is that my son got to know about Hitchcocks films.
My son loves all the Who was and what was books. He has learned so much from them and cannot wait until new ones are released
I did not know Hitchcock was so funny. The book was most interesting. His movies were certainly thrilling. Read. This.
