This book is a great introduction to William Shakespeare for children. Shakespeare speaks to the foibles and challenges that the human race suffers and provides children with the basic elements of longer pieces of English literature. This is a wonderful starter book for children to start to enjoy Good Ole Bill.
This book is pretty advanced for "children". I wanted to introduce my granddaughter to Shakespeare in a simplified version. A tough task, I agree. The book reads much like a Cliff Notes for teens rather than kids. It is very difficult to achieve the simplifying of Shakespeare, due to the complicated plots, which separate the Bard from all other playwrights.RL
