This is one great book. It explains the story very clearly so very young children can understand but still appeals to older children. I think this is a great series to introduce children to Shakespeare. It is so simply written it could be used at bed time, yet it still gets the story very well and is not degrading to the original plays. I highly recommend it.

I was delighted to discover these adaptations by Lois Burdett. _Twelfth Night_ is great fun, and we made it a part of our Dec. 12, 2012 first grade homeschooling activities. We paired it with an animated video online in a similar vein. Now, off to build a dodecahedron!

I LOVE this concept, but I have a real issue with the spelling errors on the kids' writings. I understand these are 7 and 8 yr olds but there's something to be said about teaching revising and proofreading before a final draft that's going to be published. My son is having a hard time reading the books in this series because of the incorrect spelling. We purchased 7 of the 8 books in the series.

This is a very funny play made easy for kids to perform. My kids 6 & 8 years old are performing the play next week and have had so much fun with this book.

My children love learning Shakespeare this way. The pictures are engaging. The poetry prepares them for hearing Shakespeare when older.
