I bought this book after having purchased Sensational Scenes for Teens, thinking that it would have scripts that were more appropriate for elementary aged children (grades 4-6). (The first book had skits about girlfriends/boyfriends, school dances, drug use, high school sports, and other high school issues.) I was disappointed that this book also seems like it's more for older kids - still with too much emphasis on boyfriends/girlfriends and other stuff like that. But, maybe I just am oblivious to the way it is in elementary school these days. I did think there were some really good scripts in both books, however. I'd love to see the same author write another book for younger children.
These scenes created for kids are very easy to understand at any age. They're great! Perfectly written and created with intricate characters that your kids will just become absorbed in!
This is the perfect book for kid actors! The comedic scenes are hilarious while the dramatic scenes are touching. New or veteran actors can benefit from this book.
This book has a great variety of scenes to study and has been very helpful in getting my son's career going. He has worked for both Disney and Nickelodeon and I believe Chambers has helped with his success. Keep up the good work!
This book is the perfect book for anyone who is looking for fun and origional comedic and dramatic scenes for kids! It helps stretch your imagination and develop skills for someone who is acting just for fun or acting for a career. Highly recommended!Good luck!Lexy
This book is great for actors of any age who need help with finding material for an audition or just to gain self-confidence. Chambers really knows his stuff and you can feel his energy! You can't go wrong with any of the Chambers Stevens books. His enthusiasm is contagious!!
This is a great book to help you learn lines, build reading skills, and give you quick easy tips when performing. Its helped us so much to accelerate our acting skills. It's also a fun thing to use at sleepovers or parties.to put it simply...it rocks.
My son wanted me to review this book. This is his favorite of all of Chambers' books. I also agree that the scenes are really funny. His acting really improved when I got him this book.
