This has become my 6 and 8 year old's favorite book. What they love about it is it not only features tons of transportation vehicles made of LEGOs, but there are also instructions for building them as well as facts on each page. There is history and resources for LEGOs throughout the book about LEGOs and different vehicles. For example, there is a page about a Combine Harvester. It doesn't have the instructions since its a complex build but it shows some pictures of one built in LEGOs and it has a paragraph about what a Combine Harvester is. My boys love vehicles and they love LEGOs so this book has been a huge hit with them. There is so much jam packed into it and the illustrations are full color photographs. So much fun and the book is nice and thick, definitely providing hours and hours of fun reading and building!
This is an excellent book. I purchased it as a gift for a 5 year old, he hasn't put it down in weeks. He has made some of the smaller models, and is fascinated by some of the larger ones. There are clear illustrations and instructions for all the models. A great publication for LEGO fans young and old.
I bought this for our grandson for Christmas. He's going to be eight going on twelve plus in the brain department. I did put it to him and daddy so his daddy wouldn't feel left out--huge Lego fan, too!
I love the pictures and the steps shown to create some of its illustrations. This is a great guide for any lego fans, especially if you are into "vehicles."
