this book is very neat! it contains all information about all of the 150 pokemon, the values of each pokemon card,and has the values on pokemon toys and collectors items. this book tells you why pokemon is so fun, and teaches you what exactly pokemon is all about. it even has some history about pokemon making its fame into japan. this book is really handy because it tells you the exact values of all 150 pokemon and if you want to start collecting, how you want to start and what you want to look for. this was handy for me because when i wanted to collect, i knew which cards and toys to get. it also has big pictures of the pokemon in color. i'm very pleased!
Totally clueless about pokemon and especially the pricing of each card. As far as I know, other than EBAY, there is not a current price list out there to be had. Kinda of crazy when you think about it especially since the collecting of these cards has not slowed down at all. Proof of that is my sons who both just discovered the joy of collecting and actually playing the game of pokemon. This book at least gives you a baseline to start with when getting to know the characters and what the price was in 2000 when this collecting Pokemon book went to print.
