This is a great book to use in the music classroom. My students love learning about instruments that make beautiful music!
I didn't buy the book from , actually it was given to my sisters as a gift. i hadn't really read it because i have been playing in band for a while now, i actually play clarinet. I just wanted to let ya'll know that there are some things wrong in the book. A clarinet is not a brass instrument, it is a woodwind instrument, along with the alphorn, didgeridoo and the conch shell; are all known as woodwind instruments. Although some will say that the conch shell will be played with the percussion instruments. I just wanted to say that the book is supposed to be informative, and if its wrong it cannot be informative. If i would have known that it was incorrect then i would have said something sooner. i did not know who to write to tell that the book is in fact incorrect, so i am writing it here in hopes that it will get to the publisher.
