My daughter is 11 and addicted to this series, I never could have imagined my daughter reading instead of tv and games, I am soooooo thankfull for this series, there are currently 30 books, so I know she will be reading for a bit
my daughter is an avid Warriors fan, and is reading the whole series. She enjoyed reading these, even on Christmas day with all the other presents and snow around.
I'm proud but slightly embarrassed to say that I'm an adult Warriors fan! Love these books and love that Graystripe!!
Where has Greystripe been? Living with who? The toughest fighter in the clan has finally surfaced. And his story is great. Can he find his way to the new home of Thunderclan? Yes, but he has some really great adventure along the way. And he has an unexpected helper to travel with him. The art is perfect and makes the story come alive in your mind. The same great writing that we are used to and pictures, too. This is one series that I couldn't miss.
This book was interesting because it brought to life with pictures some of the characters of the cats. Being able to visualize the expressions of the cats put the story into greater perspective. I would , however, rather have known that this was not the regular book format before I bought it. Putting the Warrior cats into comic book mode was a clever idea and appealing to children who don't like to read. Great book for finding out what happened to Greystripe after he was captured and how Millie came to join the clan.
What's not to love about this series. I was pleasantly surprised that this manga (cartoon appearing) version was as good as the regular Warriors series. It was actually fun to see pictures for a change. This is such a wonderful series.
My daughter was having a hard time gettting into reading....So her 4th grade teacher last year suggested to read about something she loves....Well she's a cat lover and has plenty of them....She started reading from the beginning of the Warrior's series, and is now on her 33rd book....she reads them for hours at a time....over Wii, computer, and starwars...So I'm so pleased to see her reading all the time...plus it brought her to read other books that are similar....she's a reader for sure now and truly loves it....thank you so much for the Warrior's...Joy
My almost 14 year old daughter loves this kind of stuff and had been asking for this set. Santa was kind enough to bring it to her and she read them all in no time flat.
