It's an okay release, but it's not good in the sense of being faithful to the original Japanese adaptation. It's just tampering by the translators who are trying to force something that isn't there, and there was heavy backlash. You would think they would fix it for the "2nd edition," but they didn't. They just fixed a few typos. It's been talked about by a ton of people in the Adventures community about this terrible localization change. Any active community on the Pokemon Adventures/Pokemon Special series will quickly point out this is was a less than stellar release.List of things they changed:-Red and Green (f)'s scene in Vol 24 to have less of an impact when he did specifically for her sake.-This was done for what? To suggest that Red doesn't have feelings for her or that Green isn't acknowledging that she knows he likes her? The translators should re-read the original RGB books, Red has a clear crush on Green. So trying to undermine this scene is a slap in the face to the fans when the PREVIOUS publisher (Chuang Yi) got this scene correct. It didn't feel the same, it felt like the way the localization was handled was specifically to avoid -heartfelt moments- in order to promote another character pairing for Green.-Blue's attitude towards Green has completely changed.-He was originally snarky and rude to her, he thought she couldn't keep up with her own weight. This translation has him be like the nicest person to her when that isn't the case.
