Oh man, I don't know where to start on this one. Pokemon Adventures was good before, but it just keeps getting better! I especially enjoy these box sets, which come with a cool little poster. Which is, of course, why I'm waiting for the next box set in the series to come out instead of buying all the volumes individually. It's a better deal overall, too. Anyways, this is great and I can't wait for more!
I bought these for a 12 year old boy who is Dyslexic. He had been in Special ED at school for 5 years but he continued to have trouble reading so he did not enjoy reading. Once I started buying the Pokemon books he started reading more. These are simple to read and easy for him to read. After he reads a book I have him write a 2 or 3 sentence book report for each book. He must complete the book reports for every book in the collection before I order him the next collection. It took him a couple of months to complete the reading and book reports for the first 2 collections I bought. Now he has the books read and the book reports written within a couple of week. He told me the other day he is enjoying reading. Thank you Hidenori Kusaka for writing these books.
Would give it 5 stars but the poster didn't come with the box set when it arrived.The set seemed brand new judging by the condition of the books and the wrap it had on it so it is unknown to me why the poster wasn't with it.Regardless of that, it's a nice addition to the collection and was a good read.
Our 12 year old grandson loves video games, but is hard to amuse when they are not available. This is the next best thing. Keeps him occupied and entertained.
My favorite arc of the Pokemon Adventures!-Ruby and Sapphire are interesting main characters-Awesome dynamic between each character-Art work throughout the whole series is great and also evolving-A amazing buy and I can't wait until the next arc is available in a box set like this
If you like pokemon then you won't be disappointed. It is a very quick read with great artwork and very fun to read from right to left.
Very nice boxed set. Arrived in excellent condition. My daughter loves them and has read them multiple times.
This is a real good series of Pokemon. Get this and the others if u want a much deeper and darker story
