My son loves Super Friends books but this one he rarely chooses to read. It is about the making of Superman and all of his super powers. It is cute and fun but kind of boring for a 4 year old. There is no action or story, just information about Superman and the villains he fights.
My four-year-old niece asked me to order this on my Kindle for her. After I read the description, which opens, "Boys ages 2-5 will learn all about Superman's incredible powers," I wasn't sure. Would my niece be able to handle it? Would she too be able to learn what boys 2-5 could learn?Update your gender practices, dicks. The book itself was mediocre.
My two sons (3 & 4) love this book along with some of the other books in this series -- Thor, Avengers, Batman, etc. It's a great introduction to these super heroes we all take for granted. Pictures, story lines, and wording are all appropriate for small kids.
How nice to see that Little Golden Books have embraced super heroes for the young boys out there who love their super heroes like Superman, Spiderman, Batman. These enhance their imaginative play with their toy figures.
My son loves these books and asks me to read them several times a day. These type of books are an easy way to get young kids interested in learning their letters and starting to read. They are well made and have a hard cardboard cover.
Cute cartoon intro to Superman! My 3 year old loves all things Superman and this did not disappoint him. He loves to see any super hero book- and we read this one often.
This was a great introduction to Superman and other superheros for my four-year-old son. It's not violent, is simple enough for him to understand, and has a great vintage-vibe. We're very happy with this book!
This is a modern interpretation/art of Superman, but my son loves it. He is 7 and reading at almost 4th grade level, and the text is very easy for him with lots of colorful pictures.
