The quality of the translation is solid, nothing seems out of place from the original script. It's much better than the FRLG arcs that VIZ sincerely needs to re-evaluate, especially when they use both Chuang Yi (the previous publisher) names like "Kimberly" than "Ultima" in certain pages, and adding in fake confessions that deviate beyond Chuang Yi's script and even the Japanese version. So seeing consistency in seeing "Ultima" being used again is a pro for the release. The print quality is alright, certainly better than my DPPT box set where I got a few washed out pages and smudging.But... at the price it charges, $4.99 is too much. The original Japanese Volume 1 was $4.99 and included Chapter 0-7.Previous Pokemon Adventures volumes were $7.99 and those volumes had more chapters than 7.So, realistically you're getting scalped by this $4.99 price tag because you'll end up paying $10 for something that originally costed $4.99 in Japan. They've been doing this for all the XY volumes that it's a bad marketing decision in general, especially when Shogakukan Asia sells an entire XY Volume in English in Eastern Asia for cheaper than buying VIZ's two mini-volumes is insane. The idea of "they're smaller so it's easier to carry around and we "reduced" the price to accommodate that decision" is a flat out lie.The series' fandom is already small, trying to scalp more money out of its fanbase is a poor choice.
Great product, highly recommend the ORAS Pokemon Adventures manga chapters!
