I've bought a lot of things from over the years. I mean, a LOT. This is, without a doubt, the single most disappointing item I've had the displeasure of receiving.First of all - this calendar is a paperback. It says that that in the description, but it's literally a paperback book, which, if you think about it, is a terrible format for a calendar. It can't be hung on a wall, and it won't stay open flat on a desk. It's not spiral-bound like a planner, nor does it have pages like a planner. Honestly, I can't think of a practical use for this calendar, unless you think that "February 2016" might be a nice story to read to your kid before bed.Now take a look at the photo that graces the cover of this bad boy. Nice, right? I thought so. Would it not be reasonable to assume that the other photos in the calendar would be of a similar quality? Nope. Big nope. Here's what you get instead:- Clipart of a canoe, blown up so large that every pixel is as big as a Chiclet.- Photos of ship models - MODELS - against a thrilling plain white background (some of which I suspect are not even models of wooden boats.)- More clipart. One bears the watermark of the website from which it was downloaded. I s*** you not.What you do not get is one single photo of a tall ship at sea, or any ship at sea, or any real ship. Well, there may be photo of a real full-scale ship in there somewhere; it's hard to tell. And that's a problem.This product is a joke. l did get a good chuckle from it after my initial feelings of shock and anger had passed, so I guess it's worth the one-star rating I'm begrudgingly giving it. I just requested a refund. I would rather scratch marks into a concrete wall with my fingernails to keep up with the days than to look at this hot mess even one more time.Do not, under any circumstance, purchase this calendar.What you will not see are any photos of tall ships
This isn't a calendar, it's a book with tiny pixelated pictures of boats on a white background. Terrible.
