I have bought many Thad Koza calendars and books, and knew that he died a couple of years ago. So when I saw his name on this, I assumed the publisher was simply recyling past photographs. Which would have been FINE. Instead, it is another photographer, who does a fair job. But Thad captured the heart and soul of a tall ship, not just the detail. Tidemark and TallShips.org ought to get together on this and do what needs to be done to preserve the archive of Thad's work, most of which is on slides. His work is classic. If you cannot afford a Montague Dawson, a photograph by Thad Koza is the next best thing. Hopefully corporate expediency will not kill off his great work, which is for the ages.

Exactly as described. Interesting write up on background on ships. Nice quality paper. The calendar arrived in perfect shape, no creases in the paper.

the ships this year were mostly large tall ships which was great because i have been collecting these calenders for the last 6 yrs.
