We collect the Wooden Boat Calendars. We love sailboats and the photographs of the renewed "Oldies but Goldies" of the boating world are great to collect. The photographs by Benjamin Mendlowitz are wonderful and exciting and each year we keep the previous year's calendar. We give this calendar every year as a Christmas present and enjoy it all year.

This was the perfect addition for my home office. It fits seamlessly into the decor. I also love to look at the beautiful boats. In fact, some of the pictures I loved so much I cut them out and had them matted, framed, and hung on the wall beside the calendar for 2013.

Sailboats and powered craft, yachts, dinghies and workboats--even an astounding shot of several gondolas--all shown 'in their element,' beautifully composed and perfectly lit. You don't have to love wooden boats (as I do) to love this calendar.

My husband builds wooden boats, so this was a perfect gift. He enjoys seeing the variety of beautiful boats hanging in his "boatshop."

I've had the Calendar of Wooden Boats since the mid-eighties and I'm always pleased by the images. This year is no exception. I would suggest some more pictures of little boats but Mendlowitz more than makes up for that lapse by omitting cabin interiors this year.
