As always, the illustrations are fun and well done. However, the story is short and lackluster. Our 2 year old was bored half way through it. There's only a few words on each page and there's no 'story line'. Oh well, we will read it a few times and give it away. I'll definitely be more cautious of my next Pout Pout Fish purchase.
Although mt daughter's favorite book is ' the pout pout fish' this book is missing all the magic that the other has. The story line is confusing, and because the characters are in costume, my two year old dosent recognise her sea friends from her favorite book.
Not as fun to read as the other pout pout books. Will give to grandson the 1st of October
The original Pout-Pout Fish book was great, so we wanted this as soon as it came out! It is a huge disappointment - nothing like the original.
There's not a Pout-Pout book that isn't wonderful. My granddaughter loved it!!
