This book is hilarious for kids and adults. The characters have well developed personalities in the third book in this series which allows for some funny antics. Sugar steals the show! I felt she came off as annoying in the last book, but her boldness in "Into the Wild" is humorous. Doreen Cronin is creative and witty. She definitely understands her audience. The grammar is also fantastic which is important for children learning to read and write.I would say that this book is for ages 5-6+. I have to explain the premise and jokes to my 4 year old, but if he were a year or two older he would be laughing along with me. I can see this book and the rest of the series being one of our favorites for years to come!
