Here comes Barnyard Bath! It’s a waterproof cousin of Barnyard Dance!—the famous board book bestseller. And what could make tub time more fun than a book? Especially one that floats. Because let's face it, board books are highly impractical in the tub. Safety-tested, nontoxic, and so much fun—just like Bath Time!, Boynton's first bath book.

Barnyard Bath by Sandra Boynton is a cute little bath book for babies and toddlers. Bright and colorful with pictures of farm animals, it is good for playtime as well as bathtime. The story is short and simple and a small washcloth with the cow's face on it is included. The book starts with, "It's bath time! Is your washcloth nice and wet? Let's get going! Ready, set...Wash the duckies. Was the cow. Scrub the piggy. You know how!" Buy the book to find out how it ends.

We love this book for bath time! It is so much fun. We first got it when our son was about 14 months old. I wish we had gotten it sooner. It comes with a little washcloth, which I thought was just a gimmick they added at first. Then, I realized that it's part of the fun of the book! The book instructs you to wash all the animals on each page, and then on the last page, your child is supposed to use the washcloth to wash himself/herself! We only had to show him what to do with the book once, and he started doing it on his own. He also likes to point out the letters in "you" on the last page and have us say the letters. It is only a few pages, but he just starts it over and over again to prolong the fun. Our son is 18 months old now and still pulls it out for every bath. He is obsessed with books, and we only had one other book for the bath before buying this one. We love Boynton books so we figured this would be great too. Get this book if your child loves bath time and loves books!

The babies love this when they take their bath. They can wash the characters with the little washcloth that comes with it. And it has all the charm of all the Sandra Boynton books. This one is just made of materials that make it able to go in the bathtub. So fun!

This book is great. I was looking for a book for the bath. It has been a little tough to keep my 1 yr old daughter busy in the bath so that she doesn't want to stand up! So she loves books so I thought a bath book would work. When I came across this one I thought it would work because she LOVES Barnyard Dance by Boynton (among other Boynton books). It works perfectly. The only thing is I just wish it was a page or two longer.

Barnyard bath is super cute. It has a great rhyming story that I read to my son every night at bathtime. It even comes with a cute matching washcloth. He likes to point to the animals and make their sounds. It's an awesome book for in the tub!

Thought this would be similar to Barnyard Dance which my toddler has LOVED since the first day we read it. It's not even close. Maybe I was expecting too much from a bath book. It also seems to have been designed to be sold as a set with a cow washcloth, which I did not get. The "story" is about using the washcloth to wash the animals in the book. She still likes it, but I feel like I overpaid.

Ok, this is a great bath time book. Not much to read but it's bigger in size than most and it comes with an adorable little wash cloth. We have 6 books that we read in the bath tub and this is the last one we read. My 12 month absolutely loves it. When it's time to read this one, she reaches for the cute cloth that came with it. I made the mistake of letting her use soap when she washes each barnyard animal so we kind of waste a lot of soap but it's all worth it because she has so much fun making suds and washing each animal. Great Book!!!

I wish I had found this earlier. My son is 22 months old, and loves the idea of taking a book in the bath, but it's a very simple story. Wash the duckies, wash the cow, wash you! If I had introduced it around 12-18 months old, it would have been a bigger hit.
