My son is in 1st grade and loves these books. He has struggled with wanting to read so finding these books was amazing. He reads them to his little sister or on his own or to me. The pictures are so bright and fun and the reading is fun too.
My youngest (five) is an avid Fly Guy fan and she took to his introduction to sharks like, well, you know. In typically engaging fashion, and with an early reader vocabulary, Arnold and Fly Guy provide a whirlwind tour of sharks and their environs in a perfect K and pre-K chunk. Mixing Fly Guy into photographs, FG is a charming and humorous tour guide. My daughter learned some things while not being overwhelmed with too many things. It looks like this is the first of a series of science-themed FG adventures and if so, we eagerly await the next one while applauding (and rereading) this one.
My son loves the whole Fly Guy series, and I love that he enjoys reading. This one was not the typical Fly Guy book. It's a factual book about sharks narrated by Fly Guy. It's a good way to cover a non-fiction topic.
We love fly guy in our house. These books never get old and they keep it interesting and FUN! MY BOYS LEARN A LOT FROM READING THESE BOOKS! Better yet they retain the info and can tell me about it later. Great books !
Fly Guy is now a non-fiction author. Fly Guy Presents Sharks is suitable for all ages, but it is especially suitable for those with lower levels of English reading ability and skills, or EFL students. The graphics and images of the Kindle version are excellent and the text is very informational. Two thumbs up.
My 4yo loves the Fly Guy "presents" series. She loves to look at the pics and learn as I read them to her. She now knows a lot about sharks plus, my 7yo can now read so both kids can enjoy it.
My 1st grader loves the Fly Guy books and he is obsessed with sharks. This was a great book to get. Lots of fun facts and he was able to read it all by himself. I will for sure be getting more l of the "presents" books. I purchased the hard bound version.
Love it!!! This was super full of information about sharks and kept my little one occupied and learning. Love Fly Guy and his adventures! We also have one in space and 11 others. I highly recommend this series.
